Our children to perform in Christmas Performance

The Future Dance Ensemble of the Peking University Institute of World Theatre and Film invites you to Believe with us, December 14-18 2011 at Peng Hao Theatre.  Our international cast of 40 dancers and singers, from 11 countries and speaking over a dozen languages, will take you on a mystical holiday journey though time and space. 

You’ll see an inspired boy-meets-girl story in a wintry wonderland where everyone can tap dance, enjoy a high-kicking chorus line in our tribute to the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, and enjoy Santa’s elves, performed by our students from the Migrant Children Foundation, as they prepare for the holiday with the humor only the most mischievous of elves can provide.  

Our experienced contemporary dancers will show you a battle raging between the angels in heaven, over the fate of two warring soldiers on earth.  Our gentlemen will show you what the Toy Soldiers guarding the North Pole do on break-time in a lively hip hop dance, and we’ll ring in the New Year together with the jazz stylings of American music theatre dance.  Remembering September of 2001, we will celebrate Christmas in New York 10 years later, cherishing the past but grasping at the future.  This December, come to Peng Hao Theatre, and Believe...
