Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding and valuable experiences of your life. The children and adults you'll be supporting through MCF will benefit hugely from everything you have to offer and, in return, you'll experience an unforgettable culture and a lifestyle unimaginable back home.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! We're always looking for new volunteers, and you don't need to be an experienced teacher to get involved – we welcome anyone who is enthusiastic, committed and flexible. All we ask is that:

• You are aged 18 or above
• You are willing to commit to one month’s volunteering in Beijing
• You can demonstrate cultural sensitivity
• You are generally in good health
• You pass a CRB check prior to your program (no criminal record)
• You are enthusiastic, flexible and trustworthy
• You are receptive to different ways of living and thinking
• You can provide copies of your most recent academic exam results
• You have good communications skills and are willing to immerse yourself in a foreign culture
